These are perfectly machined 4-Hole base plates for Tattoo Machines. For Professional Tattoo Machine builders. Requires welding or brazing to your side-plate design. These are the same base-plates used on the San Martin Tattoo Machine. Bottom of the plate has recessed holes, so that the coil screws don’t stick out of the bottom. Made out of low carbon 1018 steel. These are perfect for all professionals or any artist wanting to build there own machine! Tube vise slot is pre-threaded at 8/32 or M4.These are perfect for those who want to create there own machine. Just design and create your own side plate. Made out of a low-density material, they are simply the best grommets for tattoo machines on the planet! They have closed ends, that make needle bar insertion a breeze. They can be cleaned with alcohol or autoclaved. All San Martin Tattoo machines have the Armature Bar nipple extending (length) 13/64” and the width .140”, this size is a perfect fit, so they can be inserted all the way to the body of the Armature Bar and be snug. If your Armature Bar nipple is too long, you will have to grind it down to fit (dremmel tool). Some Armature nipples don’t have the proper width. In this case you can use a piece of 3M micropore tape once around the nipple to provide a tight fit. If too tight, the needles will bounce erratically. If too loose, the color won’t go in solidly. All professionals should know the exact fit of their grommets; if not, experiment! I’ve tried all known grommets available and these are phenomenal!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
